Scent Trail - Fragrance Inspiration?

Eau Ressourçante is promoted as a long-lasting woody-floral fragrance which helps to release tension, clear and calm the mind and restore balance. This suggests to me that it has health and theraputic dimensions to it. Perhaps worth a try????

Apparently, François Demachy - Dior perfume creator, was inspired by everyday life in India and added just a touch of chic French style, to the Dior Escale A Pondichery fragrance.

Everything special about Greece was captured by Gullaume Flavigny - Perfumer for the Armani Prive Cèdre Olympe scent.

Lyn Harris - Perfumer produced whats been described as a "nostalgic fragrance with a twist", the perfume, Miller Harris Fleurs de Bois - is Regent's Park, London in a bottle!

Tom Ford's Bois Marocain, is a tribute to Morocco and marketed as an evocative fragrance.

Which made me ponder.... if you were to capture your location in a bottle (like a fragrance) what would be the key elements/smells you'd include in it?

Okay, perhaps a random idea, but I will provide some examples below, to hopefully prompt your thoughts.

Bristol: Waterfront, traffic fumes and burgers...

Ireland: Grass, cattle marts and bacon...

Bath: Olives, flower stands and cosmopolitan visitors...

Weston-super-Mare: fish'n'chips, candyfloss and wet mud...

Oxford: Meadows, river, bicycles and raw sweat generated by runners, rowing, cycling etc

Chester: LUSH products and cobbled streets...

What would be the basis of a location scent near you, I wonder?

I look forward to reading your take on this....
